  1. Bring the salted water to boil
  2. Add the broccoli pieces to the water
  3. Cook about 2-3 minutes until it becomes bright green and crisp-tender
  4. Transfer it to the iced water with a spoon
  5. After it cools down completely, spread them on a baking sheet and  dry up with a paper towel and 
  6.  Freeze broccoli.
  7. Blanch broccoli remains typically fresh for 3-6 months.

Steaming: We need a big pot with a steamer basket for steaming.

  1. Fill a few inches of the pot with water
  2. Insert the steamer basket
  3. Heat it using medium-high heat
  4. Put the trimmed broccoli inside
  5. Use a tight lid to cover the steam
  6. Cook for 5-6 minutes until it becomes green and tender
  7. Transfer the broccoli to the bowl of ice water
  8. Dry them with a paper towel placed on a baking sheet or tray, and then freeze them.
